I would like to welcome all of our families for the new school year with a special welcome to our new and old Masada students and families. I hope that you have had an enjoyable summer break and some precious family time together.
Our focus for the year will be centered on the Prefects' theme, Together We Are More, 2024. It is a vision that we honour, respect and want to uphold as we continue to build a dynamic, diverse Masada community with shared values and understanding.
Settling Into the New School Year
Our students have settled into their new classes across the campus, with excitement around the campus as they greeted new and old friends. Teachers across ELC-12 have worked hard to ensure the transition to a new school, new class and new grade has been as smooth as possible. If there are any issues yet to be resolved, please ensure you reach out to the respective class teacher or Year Patron.
In the Senior School, our Year 7 students were equally as excited about their new start tinged with a little trepidation, of course. After their first day, however, they have gained confidence and are already making the Blue Sky Centre their home.
Masada HSC Success
We are very proud to share the success of our Masada HSC graduates of 2023. Their outcomes demonstrated the remarkable resilience and perseverance in them striving to achieve their personal best. They move forward with confidence with a bright future ahead.

The children in the ELC have all settled back into their new classes. Many children enjoyed spending time in their Summer holiday near the beach, or enjoyed our beautiful Sydney beaches. To extend their interests, most rooms began the year with a theme of “Exploring Sea Creatures”.
The children in the Blue Room worked collaboratively to create a sea themed mural. They used a rage of materials and medium to paint, collage and decorate amazing sea creatures. They compared sea creatures to mammals, learning about the interesting characteristics of both. Using their five senses the children re lived their fun experiences. Through dramatizations they pretended to dive into the shimmering waves and all had the opportunity to catch some amazing fish! They decorated imaginary sand castles using sea shells and sparkly gems. Music enabled us to listen closely to the gentle whispers of the sea as well as learn many songs related to this theme. To consolidate all these experiences, an amazing and creative mural developed.
Our children are now ready for an action packed and fun filled 2024 and we look forward to exploring many more interesting themes.
We are thrilled to kick off the 2024 school year with boundless enthusiasm and a warm welcome to our new students! Our dedicated Junior School teachers were buzzing with excitement as they prepared to meet their wonderful new classes. Together, we are poised to make this year the best one yet!
As we embark on this journey together, let's remember that 'Together is more 2024.' This slogan encapsulates our belief in the power of unity, collaboration, and support within our school community. With teamwork and positivity, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
Let’s make every moment count as we embark on this incredible journey together!
