Term 2 Achievements
Term 2 at Masada College has come to a close, and what an incredible and rewarding term it has been! As we reflect on the past few months, we can't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment for all that our students have achieved.
Our students have put in tremendous effort and dedication to their studies, and they should all be pleased with the results they have obtained. It's a testament to their hard work and commitment to their studies.
Throughout the term, we have experienced numerous highlights and memorable events. We commemorated Yom Hashoah and Yom Hazikaron with deep respect and reflection. The Yom Haatzmaut celebrations created a sense of joy and unity amongst the students. The Yom Yerushalayim assembly and Shavuot learning sessions led by our Senior School team informal team were a highlight and the Shavuot assembly brought our Junior School students and their parents together for a morning of celebration.
Diversity Day showcased the fabric of our school community, while the Performing Arts evening and Shtetl Production displayed the incredible talent and creativity of our students (and staff). The Year 6 FOS presentations were inspiring, and the Living Historian's Project in Year 10 left a lasting impact on everyone involved.
We also celebrated success outside the classroom. The Duke of Ed program had a remarkable year, and our students achieved outstanding results in cross country, athletics, and school competitions. The Mikolot Jewish public speaking competition showcased our students' oratory skills, while the interschool debating and chess competitions demonstrated their intellectual prowess.
As the term drew to a close, we were proud to see our students engaging in numerous hours of chesed service, making a positive difference in the lives of others.
As we head into the holidays, we encourage our students to take the time to slow down and relax. Parents, we urge you to reflect with your children on what they have learned and achieved this term, as well as set goals for the upcoming term.
We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday, and we hope you enjoy the kosher Tim Tams as a delightful treat to celebrate the end of JCA Education Week.
